Ctrl+Shift+Click url in terminal no longer starts debugging in browser
Answered
I'm using IDEA to develop an Angular application. If I start my Angular dev server in the built-in terminal in IDEA, I used to be able to Ctrl+Shift+Click the localhost URL in the terminal and it would open up a browser window to let me debug my application. This stopped working sometime last year (2025). Now, when I Control+Shift+Click the url, it opens a regular browser window without debugging enabled.
Does anyone know if the feature to start a browser debug session from the terminal has been removed or is this a bug?
