stop Indexing please Part 3

WTH...people have complained about this and the developers have promised to fix it and it still does it ??? No pause button, nothing,

I havent even changed any code, just did a clean recompile and now my CPU is locked for so long while it is indexing everything !

Can't it just check for code change and not just go by compile timestamp ?? (I thought ant or java compiler was smart enough not to recompile untouched code.)
