Share settings through settings repository, one repo for all? Or one by OS?

Following this tutorial: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/idea/sharing-your-ide-settings.html

I wonder if this works for all OS on the same repo, or if I should create one repo per OS.

I use WebStorm, PhpStorm and PyCharm, on Windows, Linux and Mac OSX.

I currently have one repo for all and the latest commits don't make much sense to me.
