"Resolve operation require more time" - Unit Tests runner completely unusable

My experience with unit tests in clion is a total time waste. every click on ui controls or attempts to run single test causes 10 mins like freeze. Luckily in 2018.2 eap i can see dialog with chancel button which helps at times. Unfortunately some actions are fired in UI thread directly so cancel button is frozen.

Is there any workaround to disable this weird "resolve" behavior in unit tests?
