Note: I have looked at this https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115000622624--skipped-breakpoint-at-because-it-happened-inside-debugger-evaluation- and this https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-178509#comment=27-2426329
I am remote debugging a core java app using Intellij and this message keep flashing on the status bar.
Also I have unchecked "Enable 'toString()' object view. It seems that this happens when there are conditional breakpoints.
1. If this is due to 'toString()' evaluations, why does it happen when the setting is disabled?
2. When exactly does 'toString()' evaluation happen? I my case the program hasn't hit any breakpoints and is running. I didn't expect anything shown in the debugger window to be evaluated when a breakpoint is not hit.
3. Is it possible that Intellij is mis-interpreting something from the remote JVM? Or some incompatibility due to Oracle vs Open JDK?
