IntelliJ crashing exploring resource files I think

I am having this crashes for a long time, with versions 2017.2.x and 2017.3.x.

I think it is when I am scrolling through Project explorer and open resources folder, or when I search (Ctrl+Shit+N) for file names from resources like properties. If I use the double shift search I can open properties, it is very strange and annoying, the IDE just closes.

The file idea.log does not have any log about the crash, but it is created a java_error_in_idea_xxxx.log in my windows user directory. I tried to look at this file but I don't understand what is causing the crash.

I increased IDE memory heap size and it is not in just one project.
