Any reason we cannot alphabetically sort installed packages?

This hits me every time I go into preferences/project/project interpreter to see installed packages - they are not sorted alphabetically (or sorted in any way for that matter). The column headers (package, version, latest) allow no sorting either. With a long list, finding your package is annoying task of going over the whole darn list.
It has been this way for ages, why?
