Hello! I haven't heard about such plans. But there is a third-party plugin that offers Lua support: https://plugins.jetbrains.com/plugin/5055-lua.

If anything changes we will announce it publicly on our website, blogs, social media profiles.

I see.
This is more like a request.

Lua is amazing (Much faster than Python, has some great libraries like Torch and SciLua) and needs some love.
IDE with the quality of JetBrains will bring it to the masses.
