Error with SSH when using WSL as remote interpreter

Having followed all steps from the docs, when providing my SSH credentials in the Add Remote dialog, I get the following:

If I try to change the python interpreter path instead, by clicking on the folder picker button, I get the following:

I'm able to run bash through cmd and ssh 127.0.0.1 successfully as suggested in the previous article to test SSH.

Any direction on what I can try to get this to work?
