Help me get back my folder tree!

Hi,

I updated to 2018.1 just this morning, after a lot of wasted time me trying to find a solution for my problem I finally come to the community in hope for a solution.

I've been using PS for quite some time and one of things I love is the project's file tree, I navigate it using arrow keys and whenever I collapse a directory it would also collapse all of the uncollapsed child folders, this however is no longer a thing as of this update.

Can someone please point me in the right direction how can I restore this feature as I am literally losing my mind over it haha.

Thanks a lot,

Ed.

Right, i've seen I'm not the only one. PhpStorm team has made a mistake and hopefully they will resolve this.

I was considering a downgrade as this feature is a must for myself but I stumbled on Victor's post https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-186081#comment=27-2787346 he says :

In Project Files view collapsing tree node collapses all subnodes.
In Project view collapsing tree node does not collapses all subnodes.

While we waiting fix, I think we can use Project Files view

and actually this helps so will be using PF while P is restored :( sad times...
