Problems with my pycharm
Hello!
I have a problem installing Pycharm Community on Ubuntu 16.04, because when I try to install by the terminal with the snap package, it says that this package was not found. Please, I'd like to know why this is happening.
Thank you very much in advance.
Sincerely,
Dorgival Filho

Me too... Super Newbie to coding.
Running Ubuntu 16.04.
Attempted installation by terminal ( tried several syntaxes ):
sudo snap install [pycharm-professional|pycharm-community] --classicsudo snap install --classic
sudo snap install pycharm-community --classic
sudo snap install |pycharm-community --classic
>pycharm-community]: command not found
/snap/pycharm-community/current
bash: /snap/pycharm-community/current: No such file or directory ( or similar result )
Attempted installation by Jetbrains site by archive manager and download:
- - downloading only resulted in a partial .tar.gz zip of 59KB after a very long time.
- - archive manager seemed to do nothing for a half an hour and then a .tar-5 and a .tar-6 file came up separately, neither of which I know what to do with.
Thank you for any help!!! :)
