How to have multiple splits for same tab group?

I want to be able to choose any open file to be shown in any splits. Right now when I open a split, only that file can be opened in that split. Instead, I want the split to be like a viewport where any file can be viewed from. If I have 2 splits, I should be able to edit any open file via any open split.
Is that possible to do right now?

Right-click the desired editor tab, and from the context menu select how you want to split the editor window (vertically or horizontally): e.g. you can split the editor with current tab, move or open it in opposite group.
