Structure view still automatically expanding

I have asked and reported about this bug months ago, and it is still present in the new version 2018.1. The structure view expands automatically when switching tabs or minimizing PyCharm. It is extremely annoying and it absolutely kills workflow.

For some reason it has been flagged as obsolete here and as fixed here. But that is simply not true. I have never seen it fixed in 2017.3 and neither when I updated to 2018.1.
