How to disable Tooltip *values

I would like to disable these popups/tooltips because they obstruct my view of the line above it (which I am trying to read as I type the line below it).

I am using PyCharm Professional 2018.1 on Ubuntu 18.04

It would not be so bad if it appeared off to the left side and did not obstruct my view of the code.

Ok, I finally figured it out.

Settings > Editor > General > Code Completion > and I had to un-tick the box on Auto-display parameter info in 1000 ms

Hope this helps somebody else.  That pop-up was driving me CRAZY I had to keep pressing Esc to make it go away and it totally distracted my train of thought while I was coding.

Thank you this is extremely helpful. Conversely, it makes no sense why this window appears above text when almost every language relies on seeing the above text to inform the current line. Just make an option for the window to pop up BELOW the cursor which in all likelihood is just blank space.
