IntelliJ on MacOs: dock icon keeps changing after update

When updating IntelliJ using the Jetbrains toolbox, and invoking the updated IDE the first time, it shows a new icon in the MacOs dock bar.

So I have to:

  1. turn to the old icon and go "remove from dock"
  2. turn to the new icon and go "keep in dock"

Each time there is an update. Annoying.

I think that worked better at some point in the past.
