Scratches view is missing from Tool Window drop-down list

Answered

I'm using RubyMine 2018.1. Recently the Scratches item disappeared from the drop-down "list of views" in the Tool Window. The list of views currently has Project, Project Files, Problems, Tests, Project Source Files, and Rails. It used to also have Scratches, but it's no longer there. How do I get the Scratches item back in the list of views?

Thank you,

Rob

Hello,

sorry for the delay. Indeed, the UI has been changed, at the moment the scratches view is at the bottom under all the external libraries in the Project view. We also have a feature request for improving the current implementation, please take a look:

Thank you, Olga. I hadn't noticed it there before, but now that you pointed it out, yes I see it. I look forward to the improvement you're planning on making. (It seems a little too hidden away down at the bottom of the Project view.)

Second this feature.  Where did the filter go? I have no way to access this folder quickly.  Had been using scratches extensively in previous versions.
