Webstorm 2018.1 doesn't work as version 2017.
Hi, I've been using webstorm for more than 2 years. Always with latest updates and never had a problem. One month ago, I reinstalled my Mac with OSX 10.13.4, downloaded Webstom 2018.1 ( and today 2018.1.1) and everything is a problem.
1) Use case-sensitive file system option as described in the Help doesn't work, I had a lot of problems with this.
2) Shortcuts have changed. I can't close a file with Cmd+W, it has a different command.
2.1) Navigate between open files neither. All shortcuts have changed.
How can I use the default configuration I was using for 2 years?
What changed?
This is really frustrating since I expected to continue using it as normal.

Please can you be more specific?

You must have chosen a different keymap in Preferences | Keymap
Normally you can impport settings from previous installation on the first start; but after OS re-installing all previous configurations are lost, so, unless you have synced your configs to some remote repository, your all settings are lost, and you have to set up everything from scratch
Hi Elena,
I followed this link but It didn't work.
For the configuration, I never did any change, just use the default. I reinstalled the Mac in December 2017 and downloaded the latest version and all worked great. But since March with version 2018 no.
In Preferences => Keymap I have the default "Mac OS X".
No configuration, just default usage.

It's not a default one,,. Default for Mac has always been "Mac OS X 10.5+"
For some reason, something changed.
Thanks Elena
