Working with remote files

Hi everyone.

I'm a newbie with the world of python and pycharm. I will have numerous questions but will endeavour to search around before asking them all.

One thing that has been bugging me is how to work on files from two different machines. Doesn't have to be simultaneously but I have a desktop and a laptop which have similar setups. I'd like to be able to access my projects from both machines without worrying about sync issues etc. Up until now I have been using onedrive to store my files but I was wondering whether there is a better way to achieve this goal?

Any help/advice would be appreciated.
