Python project files disappear.

I started using pyCharm on Linux (CentOs7) a week ago.

There is an issue with the project window. Whenever I switch to another window and then switch back it seems like Pycharm is trying to refresh the files and it the files disappear until the refresh finishes. Sometimes though the files never show up and I will have to close and open the project again.
