Automatically import updated run configs

I have a question about importing run configurations automatically.

So atm when we share run configs it comes at your '.idea/runConfiguration' folder. When you push that to your version control system everyone needs to place it at their own folder separately. 

Is there any way to automatically replace the files that have been pushed with the files at the config folder? So we don't have to reimport the configs every time we edit the configs.
