Getting stuck in downloading android components
Answered
I waited for more than an hour in this screen. The Installing list is not updated. It's not a problem with my connection. Cancel or close button does not do anything, I need to terminate Intellij process in terminal. When I restart Intellij and try again the Downloading Components show the message "Nothing to do!".
I am using Ubuntu 16.04

Hi, could you please provide idea.log (Help | Show log...).

Creating file /home/piucco/.android/repositories.cfg may be the solution, try following advice from this link: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/43433542/stuck-at-android-repositories-cfg-could-not-be-loaded
I have the same problem and tried this, unfortunately this does not help. The behavior is the same as without touching the file. I'm on Windows 10.
Are you sure it is the same problem? Please check logs for errors.
I am having the exact same problem. The log no longer shows the repositories.cfg issue, but the process, once started, never stops. And I have to kill IJ from the task manager to get it to go. The last line of the log is:
2018-05-30 18:19:48,784 [ 283885] WARN - vdmanager.AvdManagerConnection - No Android SDK Found
While onscreen, it says "Nothing to do!"
