Cannot create Task on Phpstorm 2018.1.4 installed in Ubuntu 18.04

When I click Tools->Tasks & Contexts->Open Task then click "Create New Task" nothing happens, there is no popup that appears for the task creation.

Is anything being logged into ~/.PhpStorm2018.1/system/log/idea.log when you reproduce that issue?
Try to use a keyboard instead. That's most likely caused by https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-191839 or https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-189280

I cleared the idea.log then tried to create the task but there is no log produce after it

Basically i can go to the window popup to create task by means of nav bar and shortcut keys but from that window pop up nothing happens when i clicked the Create New Task, the window just disappears and nothing follows.
Yes, there's a bug with clicking the items.
Will be fixed in 2018.1.5 that'd be released soon.
