CLion CPU usage when writing comments
Answered
I'm running CLion on Linux (2 different machines). When I write comments the CPU usage goes through the roof. My machines are more than capable and when writing code the CPU usage is nowhere near what they are when I write comments. I haven't really taken note until recently as my laptop has started running its fan when I write comments. I don't care having my fan running if i get some nice compilation times but when writing comments I want it dead silent.
I'm not sure what I can provide in terms of logs. Please just ask and I will post. Any help is appreciated.
Sincerely.

Hi!
Please try using CLion 2018.3 EAP which contains some performance improvements. Please note that you don't need to uninstall the stable version in order to test the EAP build - they can be installed side-by-side.
If you still face the issues using CLion 2018.3 EAP, please capture a captured CPU snapshot and send it to clion-support at jetbrains.com so we could investigate your issues.
