Rubymine update from 2017.2 to 2018

I was using rubymine 2017.2 and realized 2018.x is already available today. I did "Check for updates..." but it shows only option for 2017.3.
Then I downloaded and updated rubymine 2018 by myself.
Why was not it show 2018.x option ? could not update in Rubymine ? because of major version update ?
My settings for update:
Ignored updates 171.4694.62

Hello,
there're no updates (using patch) between major releases, so 2018.x should be installed separately from 2017.x version. In addition, according to your Updates policy there're notifications about new releases/EAPs.
