phpstorm default ide setting is overriding language default setting

Yeah if you look at below screen shot you can see parentheses are colored dark blue or dark green, but in my theme parentheses are yellow. the point is when i load any project before indexing for 2 seconds it has it's original color but after 2 seconds phpstorm overrides my theme colors.

Based on your screenshot... that looks like custom plugin in place (that does it specifically for braces; e.g. "Nested Brackets Colorer") .. or perhaps "Material UI Theme" plugin interference (may have an option for that as well; if you are using that plugin of course; looking at the dark colors on your screenshot -- you may).

Please show the list of your custom (not bundled by default) plugins.

Hi, I've remove material theme entirely, and to make sure I removed phpstorm config directory and reconfigured it again but, this problem persists. It's driving me nuts.

I've managed to fix this problem through rainbow brackets in preferences:

Just FYI: that's a rainbow brackets plugin: it's a 3rd party tool

This is totally out of subject, but i ran into the same problem, and while unterstanding what goes wrong with my brackets colors, i saw your beautiful screen. Which theme are you using, please ?
