Cryptic text pre-filled in project search

Every time I search in project (CMD + Shift + F), the search field is pre-filled with the search string:

7C04 CFD0 0C22 66C3 1614 3006 1E48 0D05 4CFA 3EB8

Invalidate Caches and restart of computer does not seem to fix the problem. Any idea of what can be the problem?

I am running Intellij IDEA v 2018.2.5
