Disable Colored Vertical Bars Next to Scrollbar

I have these vertical bars that preview code blocks in the file. Any way to disable them?

It's not possible to disable them: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-174849
You can make them a less noticeable color. The settings for that is in the Settings dialog, section Editor > Color Scheme > Diff & Merge — look for the Error stripe mark color setting.
I know this is an old ticket but I agree. What's the point of a scrollbar that I can't even see the thumb.
