Looks like these are call Hints and can be disabled by right-clicking on one then choosing Disable Hints from the popup menu.
These are parameter name hints that can be configured in Settings | Editor | General | Appearance, Show parameter name hints. You can disable/configure hints from the right-click menu. See https://www.jetbrains.com/help/webstorm/2018.3/javascript-specific-guidelines.html#ws_js_parameter_hints
