DataGrip have asked for access to my contacts, calendar, photos. Why?
Hi Team,
I have tried to create new connection to Oracle database, once I hit open button to pickup TNSADMIN directory the tool asked for access to my contact. After it asked access to calendar, and photos.
For access to photos, I think, it can be explained because I missed to pickup Project folder and selected Photos directory. Though for Contacts and Calendar I'm still not clear.
Could you please explain why DataGrip asked access to my contact and calendar?
If it is all because DataGrip selects directory from where the app is, could you please remediate it? Let it starts dialog window from Document directory?
Best regards,
Kostyantyn

Does this issue still persist? I'm asked for access today. Why?
Does JetBrains upload my files or data to their servers?
Gurpreet Singh Deol, as you can see, the issue is still open: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-194789
