Gradle project keeps on building 'plugins.gradle.model.ExternalProject'

I try to open a gradle project in Intellij and when it build the models it holds on the step "Build model 'org.jetbrains.plugins.gradle.model.ExternalProject'".

In my case it fails there, Its a brand new project generated from spring boot. Please help

Could you please provide idea.log after IDE restart and reproducing and a sample project? For uploading you can use ftp://ftp.intellij.net/.uploads / https://uploads.services.jetbrains.com or any file sharing service.

Can you build it from command line using 5.4.1 Gradle version?

Try also 2019.2.1 RC
