Does 2017.2.7 work with java 10.

I had a fall back license to 2017.2.7 and I only have jdk 10 installed on my system. I am unable to add the path to the JDK home (Which I could previously in 2018.X until my license ran out) which is under ~/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/jdk-10.0.1.jdk/Contents/Home as project sdk.
What do I do?

Java 10 language level support was added in 2018.1, and there is no plans for back port: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-184706. But per https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-170124some support for JDK10 was added in 2017.2.
