Is it enough to release feature? (ᵔ.ᵔ)
Last time I looked at it though Floobits required you to upload your code to their server to enable the remote pair programming. This is a deal breaker for many people. There's no chance the security folks at my company will ever allow that. Live Share in VS Code and the sharing in Atom do not require you to upload your code.
CodeTogether just released a plugin for all IntelliJ-based IDEs, and you should be able to find it in the marketplace from within PHPStorm. Participants join using a browser, which provides a fast, IDE-like experience with all the capabilities you would expect, from IntelliSense and validation to analysis and navigation. Eclipse and VS Code are also supported, so in a team using different IDEs, anyone can host a session and your participants will get the same consistent experience. Here's a quick overview video.
Well guys, considering that now more people are working from home than ever, I think this is an issue to quickly overcome.
That "issue" is 15 years old. Voting would be a waste of time at this point.
Well if it is not happening now it never will
There's no certain ETA, but the Rider team (who are developing this feature) shared an internal demo video showing how it works, and it looks pretty neat. Considering the whole virus situation, I suppose we are going to see it soon.

Gitduck has just launched their IntelliJ plugin that lets you pair program with any IntelliJ IDE (2019+) and with VSCode. It's P2P (so no code upload to their servers!) and includes audio/video (no need for zoom/meet), while being pretty resource/bandwith light. Here is the plugin page.
Unfortunately, no, we don't. Please leave your vote here: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEABKL-708
It wouldn't. We can't share any details currently but the feature request isn't abandoned or trashed.
