RubyMine 2018.3 freezes when using Cmd+Shift+O

Answered

I updated to 2018.3 a few days ago and it already happened twice. It freezes and even Cmd+Q doesn't respond. I waited a few minutes and nothing happened. The only way to fix it is to use Force Quit.
I'm using the latest Mac version and I always keep everything up-to-date.
Ruby version is 2.3.7 (if it matters)

Hello,

Could you please check whether the same happens on RubyMine 2018.3.1 RC? Does it happen on all the projects? Could you please reproduce the issue and attach the whole logs' folder with thread dumps (Help - Show log in).

Hi,
It just happened again. I used the Help -> "Compress Logs and Show in Finder" option and now I have a zip file containing the logs.

I will update to RubyMine 2018.3.1 and I hope it will solve the issue.
Thanks for the help,
Udi

Updating to RubyMine 2018.3.1 did not solve the issue :-(
Anything else I can do to solve the issue?

Does it happen in all your projects or always in the same one?

I have one main project and I rarely open the other projects. Are the logs helpful?

Checked the logs again and that appears to be a known problem: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-199367 The fix will be most likely available in 2018.3.2.
