Webstorm eats all of the memory and freezing periodically. It takes some hours even if I give more than 7Gbytes in the settings. I use it for angular development. BTW I realized the same issue with the AppCode 1-2 year ago on a different machine with iOS development. I thought it is a Java version issue, therefore i tried with other Java installs. I have a powerfull machine but sometimes the WebStorm also eats all of the CPUs even if i don't do anything.
This is the current version, but i also tried with the previous one:

Are there any specific scenarios/steps that lead to the issue? Please recreate it and try taking memory snapshots (https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/articles/207241235-Reporting-performance-problems) and provide them along with your log folder zipped (the menu Help, select Compress logs and show in Finder)
