PivotalTracker Integration is down

Answered

I can no longer create tasks with Pivotal, it has a problem parsing the XML... which coincidentally started about the time Pivotal retired an older version of their API.. so I think it is probably related. Here is a response from Pivotal:

Thanks for writing in about this.

While I'm not familiar with IntelliJ IDEA, if they created an integration for Tracker using the Tracker API V3 or V4, I'm afraid those versions were recently deprecated, so it will no longer work. We'd definitely recommend reaching out to them, and hopefully the more customers that do, may inspire them to migrate their integration over to our API V5.

To further clarify, in July of 2017 we announced our API V3 and V4 were being deprecated, with a scheduled removal date of December 31, 2017. At that time we encouraged folks to migrate any integration's using those versions over to API V5. However, because certain companies were relying on custom integration's that used these versions, and needed more time, we pushed the removal date back several times. We've since, as of January 22nd, finally disabled these versions completely.

I hope this helps explain the situation, and we apologize for any inconvenience. Please don't hesitate to email if you have other questions or suggestions, and thank you for using Tracker.

Kind regards,

-- Josh
