Cannot start Intellij IDEA

the default is JDK 10, i downloaded JDK 9 and changed to jdk9. then when i open Intellij, it stuck at loading page. I am using MAC Pro.

The recommended JDK version to run 2018.3 is 1.8. We recommend to use bundled JDK. You can edit idea.jdk file manually to point to the JDK location in case IDE does not start, see https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/articles/206544879.
