What's this number icon in the RubyMine gutter?

After accidentally pressing some kind of key combo, a "9" in a square has suddenly appeared next to one of my lines of code.
What is this? What does it do? I've never seen it before. If I delete the line, it goes away, but if I recreate it it comes back!

it looks like a bookmark with mnemonic, you can delete it in View | Tool Windows | Favorites | Bookmarks.
