Global inspection results not highlighting in editor?

I'm 99% sure this is a recent behavioral change, and it may well be something I've done locally in config, but I'm stumped. My plugin includes two global inspections that run external static code analyzers and link the results to the corresponding source file locations. These inspections are generally running just fine, but when the results come back, while I can see the errant range of text in the inspection results window, there's no annotation/highlighting in the editor, e.g.:

In the past the same range of text would have been highlighted in the editor at the corresponding level, in this case warning.

Any idea why this is happening and what I can do to address it?
