JDK issues

I an currently working through the tutorials in IntelliJ on a new Linux install (Fedora 29) and I get an error message "set up jdk"'. I select configure from the dialog box and the class path is empty. The jdk path is incorrectly set as /opt/ide directory but it is correctly set in the batch file. Can any one help me correct this?

Could you please provide screenshots to clarify the issue? Probably you are mixing JDK used to run IDE itself and project JDK.
