Alt-gr not working on PyCharm

Fellow programmers,
I am entirely unable to use the ALT-GR key, or even the CTRL+ALT combination into PyCharm, whenever I try to use it unless I'm in the terminal, where it works.
This sounds very strange to me and it's sending me crazy, because I'm unable to type any bracket, having an Italian keyboard.

I have the opposite problem. I usually set the altgr+comma shortcut for line comments, however, because the combination of AltGr with other keys generates alternative characters, I cannot assign this combination of keys as my shortcut. How can I fix this? or how do I disable the AltGr character generation?
I have tried with changing the Registry for alt.gr related flags, but nothing happens.
I have Pycharm Pro 2021.1
