Crap... lost my custom live templates, i worked so hard on em! (upgraded to 2019.1

So i just upgraded to 2019.1 from 2018.2

it seems my theme and some configs were carried over fine but my live templates are gone!

i had so many already it'll take me ages to redo all these

I checked the config folders

C:\Users\User\.PhpStorm2018.2

i can't find template folders in both config and system :(

Hi there,

1) Live Templates are stored in "config/templates" folder. Do you have it there?

2) Do you use one of the Settings Sync / Settings Repository plugins?

I just checked my PhpStorm 2019.1 installation and could confirm that this option (Auto Sync) is not being set up by default. Do you have a "Sync with JetBrains account enabled" maybe?

Also, there is a slim chance that you have automatic Shadow Copies enabled on your Windows system, so you may want to try right-click on ".PhpStorm2018.2" and try "Restore previous versions". Chances are not high but worth trying.

Do I get right that if you install and run 2018.2, live templates won't be there as well? If so, it seems that they are indeed lost, although it's not clear how that could've happened - 2019.1 wouldn't have just deleted them from the 2018.2 config folder, what for?

Also, are you using the IDE Settings Sync plugin? This one: http://prntscr.com/n7awph
