Why can I not debug a Compound run configuration from the Run Dashboard?

I get the option to run, but not to debug. My compound configuration also won't start when I click on the Debug icon in the main tool window - what is the cause of this behaviour? Haven't had any problems in the community version, only appeared after moving to ultimate.

Problem is that it's not possible to start debug for compound configurations at all. We are fixing it. Please follow the related issue: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-206657
