The server time zone value is unrecognized

I upgraded to PhpStorm2019

And now I get this error when configuring my Data Base connection in the IDE (Local XAMMP server in Windows10)

Click on view displays the following:

==================================
java.lang.RuntimeException: com.mysql.cj.exceptions.InvalidConnectionAttributeException: The server time zone value 'Hora estándar oeste, Sudamé' is unrecognized or represents more than one time zone. You must configure either the server or JDBC driver (via the serverTimezone configuration property) to use a more specifc time zone value if you want to utilize time zone support.

You may follow this: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/930900/how-do-i-set-the-time-zone-of-mysql

This issue is resolved by fixing the timezone setting serverside.

Hi Dmitry,

Setting the serverTIMEZONE value to 'UTC' worked perfectly in PyCharm.  Wanted to post the feedback for others to see.

Thanks,

Rick
