FLUTTER <Show Widget Rebuild> on <Flutter Performance> Fails with error

Hi,

I'm using Idea community 2019.1 and running flutter on a connected device. The <Show Widget Rebuild> window shows "nothing To Show", even though the app is successfully running on the device.

The console also shows the following error: (NB occasionally I do get output with android studio, but only on the initial run of the app, I have to restart android studio to get it to work (sometimes))
