Using SSH keys to connect to GIT repository in PHPStorm

Command line GIT works like a charm, using the SSH keys I have open with pageant.

But, as soon as I try to do anything GIT related (like a pull), with the exact same tree in PHPStorm, it will request a username and password, which defeats the purpose of SSH keys and pageant.

PHPStorm is up to date (according to the tools), as are GIT, PuTTY and pageant.

The only one in the complete setup that is behaving badly is PHPStorm.
Isn't it supposed to be the better tool, instead of the worst I have ever seen pretending to be an IDE?

Isn't it supposed to be the better tool, instead of the worst I have ever seen pretending to be an IDE?

So why are you pretending to be a programmer using that pseudo-IDE tool?

If it works correctly to anyone except you I think that the problem is with you and not with the tool itself. So be more polite.

It sounds like this one: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/WI-46071
As you can see in the issue, I tried to reproduce the issue, but didn't succeed.

Please check if after you ignore the initial credentials request, further 'push/pull' operations would work OK.

If they would, check if disabling Settings | Version Control | Git | Mark branches that have incoming/outgoing commits help.
