Default View Mode across all views

I want ALL views to auto hide on loss of focus (dock unpinned). As far as I can tell, I need to update the view mode for each view independently and then click "Store Current Layout as Default" for each window if I want that to occur across projects. There must be a better way like a setting where I can set a default view mode for ALL views.

Does anyone know of a global setting for this?
