AppCode 2019.2 EAP won't start

Hi there,

I have a problem with AppCode 2019.2 EAP not starting (no error, just fails to open), if I rollback to 2019.1.4 it works fine.

I'm on MacOS 10.14.5 with Xcode 10.2.1

Clicking on "Show Logs Directory" does not open finder.

Any suggestions for troubleshooting this?

Hi Bruce,

Most likely you have invalid .vmoptions file. Could you please try deleting or fixing it? (can be found in ~/Library/Application Support/JetBrains/Toolbox/apps/AppCode/ch-0/<version>/AppCode 2019.2 EAP.app.vmoptions or Toolbox > AppCode Settings > Java Virtual Machine options).

If it doesn't help, please collect logs at ~/Library/Logs/AppCode2019.2/ and submit ticket in YouTrack.

Thanks Aleksandr, deleting the .vmoptions file worked :)

Also happing on 2012.2 but deleting .vmoptions fixed it
