"Run anything" output colouring like in terminal?

I like the easy access provided by the "run anything" feature (e.g. for a quick Maven run), but the output is always just plain, whereas if I run the same command in the terminal window, it uses the colouring features available in the terminal. I've searched in the settings, online and in the forums here, but haven't found anything. Did I simply miss it, or should this be a feature request?
