location of 'docker-compose.yml'

Answered

Hello,

I'm having a problem to add a remote interpreter to my project.

Via preferences > Languages & Frameworks > Ruby SDK and Gems, I could add a remote interpreter with docker-compose which resides in root directory of my project. However I keep seeing 'unable to detect full path for ruby' error with docker-compose which resides in outer directory of my project.

1. able to add a remote interpreter for 'myapplication' project

/projects/myapplication/docker-compose.yml

2. not able to add a remote interpreter for 'myapplication' project

/projects/docker-settings/docker-compose.yml

Is this impossible to achieve?

Also I'd like to know how the value of 'Ruby or version manager path' works. If it is 'ruby', how does it find the full path of ruby?

Thanks.

Hello,

just to be sure, do you have a Ruby project in the project's root? Would it be possible to provide a project sample for reproduce? In addition, are you on RubyMine 2019.2 EAP?
