Can't find inspection "Field accessed via magic method" Follow
Super-annoying hover pop-up that gets in the way of me seeing, clicking, or typing sometimes.
To add insult to injury, the message is different in settings and apparently not findable...
So which one is it?!
I'm fine disabling this warning I don't need to know about in this context (because the $xml object is dynamically-instantiated anyway, PS I didn't write this code I just have to work with it as it is) or making it a weak warning and JUST STOPPING THE POP-UP but I can't even find it.

Hello, try to open Help - Find Action - Registry and then enable ide.disable.editor.tooltips checkbox.
As for the inspection itself: yeah it's a shame it can't be found using the search.
Generally you can find a related inspection via Alt+Enter this way:
Selecting "Edit inspection profile ..." would navigate you directly to the inspection itself.
I've submitted a corresponding issue: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/WI-47637
This has been moved to "rename reference". Still very hard to find. These stupid popup menu's that take a lot of effort to show and then very weird descriptions make the settings part of phpstorm the most annoying part of the application.
Why not name things properly? Why those crappy menu's? Why not have a list of all the options under words that actually describe what we are looking for?
The whole naming inspections totally different in the settings is really inexcusable also.
Maybe next patch stop the features and focus on fixing the settings?
https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/WI-47637 still has 0 votes...
Nice attitude.Hopefully we don't have to start voting with our money.
I'm noticing more and more bugs & regressions, Phpstorm takes up quite some time with fiddling with the settings etc because its really non intuitive.
What if a competitor develops somethings similar?
